Cadaver Anatomy for the Cosmetic Injector

This course will be an all day, CME-accredited course that takes place on July 12th in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA at the Iconic Peninsula Hotel from 9-6pm
The beginning of the day will begin with didactic review and an on-stage comprehensive overview of the global facial anatomy (from upper third to lower third), in which you will observe the layers and anatomical structures being showcased to you on0stage, then get hands-on experience with your table captains reviewing the layers and familiarizing yourself with them on your own specimens.
The course will then break into hands-on injection and dissection of your specimen, followed by on-stage live demonstration on a real patient to help bridge the understanding of Cadaver Anatomy to real life patient outcome and safety.
Dr. Saadat & Dr. Sykes will lead the anatomical injection and dissection, then your table captain (one of faculty such as ultrasound specialists Candice Dreary, Alexander Rivkin, Steve Yoelin) will help guide you through injection and dissection on your specimens ensuring you are familiar with the layers and feeling of cannula and needle within these areas. Once your hands-on injection and dissection is complete, the faculty will then lead on-stage live demonstrations to show the application of these areas reviewed.
There will also be high-risk areas of injection highlighted, not to pressure anyone to practicing these areas, but to properly present the anatomy of these areas, review complication prevention, and most importantly complication management in the unfortunate case one were to occur to help empower you with the knowledge and experience to feel prepared for any unexpected adverse event.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided during this training, as well as a hotel block rate in the case you were traveling from out of town or wanted to stay the evening before the course or after!
